Umrah Trips for Reverts: Our Team

Having served the revert community for over a decade in a variety of informal roles, Brother Hussein founded & managed one of the UK's largest Mosque-based reverts support network, which was shortlisted as a finalist for Best Convert Care at the prestigious Beacon Awards in 2025. 

Brother Hussein has previously organised a number of successful trips within the UK for the revert community, and has advised, assisted, hosted and guided a number of reverts on performing Umrah.

It is a great privilege for us to have Imam Hamid on our team as Head Scholar & Religious Guide. A graduate from the world renowned Azhar University, he has spent the last decade dedicated to the service of the Muslim community working as an Imam, Islamic Teacher and Director of an Islamic Center. 

With experience in taking groups for Umrah, he will be leading some of our groups when his schedule permits. He will also be providing religious guidance as & when required.

A native Makkan with a professional background in engineering (including working on a number of Masjid Al Haram expansion projects), Brother Emad is known for his meticulous planning, generous hospitality and love for meeting pilgrims. 

He has regularly participated in projects serving pilgrims during the Hajj season, and had the special honour of making tawaaf around the Kaaba alone (without any other people or pilgrims present) during Covid.

Sister Saleha has a background in the sciences of Quranic recitation and has taught many reverts how to recite & connect with the Quran. She has assisted a number of revert sisters with how to perform the rights of Umrah and is available to support and guide sisters through the journey.

We are pleased to include Sa'ad and Abdurrahman as part of our team.

Both boys have been helping us with our revert projects over the last 3 years, and will be on hand to provide water, biscuits, and their very own homemade masala tea to our groups. They also can provide expert advice on how to get close to the first prayer saff, and how to tie Saudi scarves in different styles.
